Nature and wildlife photographer, based in Surrey, UK.

Hi, I’m Martin, and I’m a nature and wildlife photographer based in Surrey, UK.

I’ve always had a keen interest in nature and wildlife, which started during my childhood in Southern Africa. I was always happiest heading out into the bush, searching for and learning about snakes, lizards and frogs.

My interest in photography started when I was a teenager - I used to borrow the school camera, and spend weekends taking macro photos of various scaly creatures. Back in those days every photo was meticulously-planned, because my pocket money only stretched to a few rolls of film a year!

I’m no longer based in Southern Africa, I now live in Surrey in the UK, where I’ve discovered that, if you take the time to notice, there is plenty of awesome nature to experience.

This website is a little bit of an experiment. It’s important to have a purpose, and whilst taking photos in nature provides great fulfilment, I’d like to share those photos to a wider audience. If I can help a few people to get a little more interested in the wonder of nature, then perhaps that makes the world a little bit better.

I’ll add contact details in due course (just in case), but for now, please follow me on facebook or instagram, where you can get in touch.
